Since February 2016, an evapEOs test equipment has been installed in the Food Sciences Department of Cornell University. Drs. Carmen Moraru and Olga Padilla-Zakour of Cornell University are exploring ways in which the evapEOs system can be used to develop innovative and sustainable products to feed a growing global population and meet its energy demands.

Since July 2016, another evapEOs test equipment has been installed at the ETSEQ Centre (Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria Química - Higher Technical School of Chemical Engineering) of the Rovira i VirgilI University. Drs. Carme Güell and Montse Ferrando are evaluating the process of Forward Osmosis for food applications.
