Cornell University, United States

Since February 2016, an evapEOs test equipment has been installed in the Food Sciences Department of Cornell University. Drs. Carmen Moraru and Olga Padilla-Zakour of Cornell University are exploring ways in which the evapEOs system can be used to develop innovative and sustainable products to feed a growing global population and meet its energy demands.

Founded in 1865, Cornell University is an American Ivy League and federal land-grant research university located in Ithaca, New York. The university is broadly organized into seven undergraduate colleges and seven graduate divisions at its main Ithaca campus, and also administers two satellite medical campuses, one in New York City and one in Education City, Qatar. Cornell University's ranking in the 2016 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, 15. Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Spain

Since July 2016, another evapEOs test equipment has been installed at the ETSEQ Centre (Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria Química - Higher Technical School of Chemical Engineering) of the Rovira i VirgilI University. Drs. Carme Güell and Montse Ferrando are evaluating the process of Forward Osmosis for food applications.
