Economic and Environmental Advantages of evapeos® process

Example of an annual production of 6,000 t/year of instant coffee.

To obtain instant coffee there are different steps. The coffee beans have to be roasted to develop all the flavors, and then the coffee is extracted with hot water. The diluted coffee obtained has to be concentrated. This concentration could be done using the evapeos process.

The comparison is made between the thin film evaporator which can be used for this operation and the evapeos process.
